The Service Prioritization Decision Assistance Tool (SPDAT) was developed as an assessment tool to help prioritize which clients should receive what type of housing assistance intervention and assist in determining the intensity of case management services.
Diversion 2.0 training will thoroughly discuss diversion conversation and data entry, emphasizing creating connections, active, empathetic listening, strengths, support exploration, and linkage to services and community resources.
This course will help you understand the basics of Diversion: what it is, when to use it, why it is essential, and review the nine steps to effective diversion.
This training is primarily for those new to homeless services. It gives an overview of the Continuum of Care, how systems work, best practices in case management, frameworks we practice, and other helpful information. This is an in-person training with a walking tour of the shelters in Lancaster.

Case Conferencing occurs every other Wednesday and is a time when housing case managers, outreach workers and shelter case managers come together to discuss current program openings, give client updates and staff cases collaboratively.
