This is an overview of Coordinated Entry. We will cover the basics of how to use CAS and Warehouse throughout the Coordinated Entry process. This session also includes an introduction to Chronicity and the Homeless Span.

McKinney-Vento Training

The McKinney-Vento Act’s Education for Homeless Children and Youth Program is a federal program that removes barriers to education for children and youth experiencing homelessness. McKinney-Vento Definition of Homeless: means individuals who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence.

This training is primarily for those new to homeless services. It gives an overview of the Continuum of Care, how systems work, best practices in case management, frameworks we practice, and other helpful information. This in-person training will show each shelter’s virtual video tours.

Point In Time Count

The Annual Point in Time Count (PIT) is a nationwide event held in January to provide a snapshot of what homelessness looks like in one night for every community in the country. This year’s count will take place on January 23, 2025. Partnership Home needs around 500 volunteers to count and survey people living in unsheltered settings throughout Tarrant County.

Annual Awards & Appreciation Luncheon

Each year we gather to honor those in our community who have gone above and beyond and to recognize all the amazing work happening throughout the Continuum of Care. We hope you’ll join us for this year-end celebration to celebrate everyone’s hard work!

Homeless Memorial

Join us for our annual Homeless Memorial to honor all those who have passed away in the last year while experiencing homelessness in our community.

This event will take place at Union Gospel Mission from 9am – 10am.
