The Improvement, Coordination & Training (ICT) Committee works together to create, review and improve policies and procedures; increase service provider coordination; and develop training curriculum development to ensure the implementation of best practices throughout the Continuum of Care.

Description: This training will provide insight into the dynamics of domestic violence and the many forms it takes. Participants will learn to identify warning signs of domestic violence and will walk away feeling empowered to respond to and prevent this traumatic experience.
Presenter: Chelsea Davis, LMSW, is the Trauma Trainer for The Women’s Center of Tarrant County’s Rape Crisis & Victim Services Department. Chelsea provides professionals with trauma-informed, strengths-based strategies to enhance their response to the abuse and violence faced by their clients.
This training overviews Harm Reduction, the fundamental principles, and best practices. The trainer will discuss how to administer Narcan and how to use Narcan to reverse an opiate overdose. Targeted Audience: TX-601 Coalition Members & Homeless Coalition Members
