A Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) is a local information technology system used to collect client-level data and data on the provision of housing and services to homeless individuals and families and persons at risk of homelessness.\u00a0 Various funders require projects to record data in the HMIS database in order to stay competitive for funding.<\/p>\n

Each Continuum of Care is responsible for selecting an HMIS software solution that complies with HUD’s data collection, management, and reporting standards. This training is for anyone who is entering data into our system. New users must complete online training before they can begin using ETO and attend a workshop.\u00a0 All users must complete a yearly refresher training.\u00a0 Please submit a Help Desk Ticket to access online\u00a0 training.<\/p>\n

HMIS Workshop<\/strong><\/p>\n

HMIS workshops are offered twice a month to help agencies and users correct data errors, which ensures accurate reporting for your program and for the Continuum. These workshops are available at the Homeless Coalition office.<\/p>\n

Workshop Description:
\nThe HMIS Workshop is for\u00a0everyone who enters, views, utilizes reports\/data within the HMIS system (ETO) and in HMIS Warehouse (Green River). It is designed for your agency – specific HMIS needs!\u00a0The goal is to focus on how to make HMIS data entry flow for your agency. We will dive into all things HMIS (ETO and Warehouse). Take the lead and allow us to assist in any way that we can!
